Before starting gambling, there must be preparation and a plan. The plan must include a certain number of elements and a well-defined strategy. In all strategies, two major trends can be distinguished:
A less risky and more responsible wager should revolve around the Pass/ Don't pass line and Come/Don't come. By adhering to them the house advantage will be minimized up to 1.41 percent. In this situation, there can be only 4 losing possibilities: if the shooter hits a 2, 3, or 12 during the come-out session or an outcome of 7 after the point number was marked.
On the opposite side, the main bets for aggressive style are the hard ways bets. These bets can be realized only on the numbers 4, 6, 8 or 10. The hard way it is also regarded as "doubles" and requires a dice outcome of 2:2, 3:3, 4:4 or 5:5 before a 7 shows up or an easy roll totalizing less than specified numbers.
The riskier the bet, the greater the winnings. For a hard 6 (3:3) or a hard 8 (4:4), the payout is 9 to 1. And a hard 4 (2:2) or a hard 10 (5:5) is paying 7 to 1 with a house edge of 11.11 percent.
